If you use a soil grow base....it may contain manure.....

or if composting....use only the wheatgrass mats......

These days the addtion of some table scraps can contirbute to subterrainial MOLD...eggs shells ....gravy form meat....etc.

Resulting in Ecoli or salmonella!

Topical MOLD is not an issue.
