My first wheat grass drink
I started juicing about two weeks ago, supplementing about a meal a day with different juice receipes. Today for the first time I juiced some wheat grass. I had not read anything on it specifically, and juiced about four to six ounces, mixing it with carrot, beet, and apple juice, making a 12 oz drink.
About 30 min. later, I got a headache, got flushed, and had a heavy fatigued feeling, then I purged like never before.
15 years ago, I worked around a lot of serious chemicals for about 5 years, and in the last 15 years I've gradually become out of shape. I am almost 50, hence the correction to try and get back into shape before I suffer any serious health problems.
Did I drink too much wheat grass the first time? How much should I drink? How long will I feel this bad after drinking it? Could this overload my kidneys or liver, which are probably filled with toxins?
