I guess the only thing we have to rely on is firsthand reports. Heard of any?

Dr. Lorraine Day said she cured herself of cancer using barleygrass, lots of carrot juice, and a largely raw diet. She says that barleygrass pills are very good. Personally, I can't see how dried barleygrass juice could be better than fresh juice. And wouldn't wheatgrass juice be better than barleygrass juice?

The Budwig diet looks interesting -- cottage cheese and flaxseed oil, mixed together in such a manner that the omega 3 oils in the flaxseed become water soluable. It sounds loopy, but Budwig was a noted chemist, and was nominated for 6 Nobel Prizes, so she wasn't stupid. She claimed a 90% cure rate if her diet was closely followed. I see no conflict between this diet and also consuming large quantities of wheatgrass and other vegetable juices. Some will claim that any dairy is bad, but Budwig said that cottage cheese was the absolute best substance to mix with the flaxseed oil for a number of scientific reasons. Of course, the juices should be taken at different times from the cottage cheese / oil mixture. However, Wigmore was adamantly opposed to any dairy.

Cancertutor.com says that wheatgrass contains a substance called Abscisic acid that strips away tumors' protective layers that prevent the body from destroying them. The site says that this substance is actually 40 times stronger in the wheatgrass juice 4 hours after it has been juiced, but it is unclear how this wait negatively affects other components of the wheatgrass juice. So the site recommends consuming half the juice immediately and half in 4 hours.

Hello jim mc if you want the livingfoods protocols checkout chi.com.This is what anne wigmore taught at her healing retreats.Notice the word heal not cure, there are no cures! There are many pathways to healing finding the right path is the true issue.Barley grass has been studied by dr. yoshihide hagiwara.the hagiwara inst. of health in japan is where the study has taken place.the focus of the inst. is barley not wheatgrass.hagiwara found barley to be the most nutritious land based plant. With that being said there is a product called e3live it is a nasty tasting algae juice.it is said to be 5 times more potent than wheatgrass. It is a living food that is shipped on dry ice to your door. Its very expensive but comes with a money back refund if not satisfied.Im not familiar with the budwig diet protocals, but flax oil goes rancid easily. And dairy is not fit for human consumption, unless its organic and raw! There is a web site called rawfoodadvantage.com you may find it of interest.
