why wheatgrass with roots are better than wheatgrass with leaves alone?
Wheatgrass has the highest content of CHLOROPHYLL content among all greens. It's a very good anti-oxidant and has great source of fiber. The roots of the wheatgrass are rich in the enzyme called p4d1 that helps in cellular repair and has anti-infalmmatory properties. It is also rich in abscissic acid that helps prevent cancer formation and growth. The roots also have the most number of amino acids which promote better body functions, muscle growth and energy. L-Arginine, that is rich in the roots, stimulates growth hormone production, aids in male fertility and relaxes muscles in blood vessels, allowing better blood flow and preventing high blood pressure.
