Mixing old furniture in a new modern house?
We are building a new house and have some old-style timber furniture that I love and would like to get more, but at the same time I want to keep the house looking modern.Does anyone have any advice on mixing the two without looking odd?

There are major difference to Old and New Furniture. Old furniture work was done by handcraft work. and the new furniture main work can be done by machine. If you are doing both mixing so it's also good looking. I would like to old furniture style so my house decorated by old and new furniture.

This can be achieved with a different color or pattern style. Similar types of furniture, with a similar texture or pattern, you can create a sense of harmony. Using the old and modern furniture, you can create a very different color or pattern or texture contrast or excitement. Again, make sure the contrast if you are looking for an appeal, it does not cause your room to become too loud.
