What to do with what keeps growing after cutting
I just grew my first tray of wheatgrass which went off without a hitch. I was under the impression once I cut the wheatgrass that was it and I needed to plant more. I am noticing the first few spots I cut are getting longer each day and I dont know if this can be juiced. Does wheatgrass lose any nutrionoal value or is there a reason not to consume what grows back?
Any experience here would be great. |

The idea is to capture the plant at the joining phase when it has built up the energy for a growth spurt. Once harvested, that build up is gone. Many people do a second cut but it is to conserve on the work effort, not because it is as good as the first.

Wheatgrass losses 50 to 70% of it's nutritional value after the first yield of harvest.
