Wheatgrass grown in the ground might be a little more nutritious because it has grown a little longer and has had time to pick up more nutrients. But this is only for a short window of time. Remember, Wheatgrass is young wheat trying to grow up and be large stalks of wheat, which is where we get our grain. If a company is harvesting one time a year and drying or freezing the wheatgrass juice, this is true. If you want fresh wheatgrass year round, then the only option is to grow it in trays.

Wheatgrass grown in the ground......

When grow for sprouting seeds.....or cearal or Grain for baking is wonderful.

And if you have the room or space to crop when the wheatgrass is Still "yound and vibrant....GOOD.

But the people can afford about $1,000,000.oo for a freeze dried powdered making macine somehow have THEIR convictions about how THEIR man made or FROZEN (Candian Products)....are as good or BETTER than .....FRESH!!!

Sounds abit redicuslous.....COMPARE the 3 and FEEL the tremendouas difference for yourself.

Wonder why a drugstore opens up evry 19 minutes in this country?

2 1/2 miles away from another one ...and sometimes right acrosss the stree from another....by a supermarket that has one also(pharmacy)??

Convience,,,,quick,,,,easy....save time???....Remedies...INSTEAD of healing and curing the cronic problems that occur from man made drugs(side effects....and the tremndous amount of dumpster material in the Fast foods chains.Correct me IF you think I am making this up.

I must post a picture of a Walgreens acrosss the streeet from a LARGER CVS pharmacy....in front of a Winn Dixe that ALSO has pharmacy behind them.(Corner of Lake Pickett road and East 50(Colonial) Orlando Florida)

Remember.....WE ARE A DRUG FREE America!!!

Gone to Inverness....FISHING!

Growing times vary dramaticaly between the field and the tray.Field grass varies from 60-200 days to jointing stage.Tray grown grass varies from 8-20 days with jointing as early as day 18."Quote"It should be obvious that the phenomenal feeding value of good grass at the jointing stage is a transient quality. If it is not grazed or cut and preserved within a few days of the jointing stage, its value is lost forever because the vitamins associated with photosynthesis are not transfered to the grain or returned to the soil. They are used up by the plant during the reproductive stage of growth. It is the transient nature of grass quality at the jointing stage that has made the secret of grass so elusive. The irony of it is that our "dumb" animals seem to have known the secret all the time.-Charles F. Schnable"end of quote".Knowing when to harvest is key to maximizing the quality of juice for consumption.May spring come quickly>go bears!
