Awesome wheatgrass sprouter!
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the boards but wanted to share my excitement for the wheatgrass sprouter that is allowing me to grow my own and therefore do daily shots of wheatgrass. A friend of mine turned me onto this website: http://877myjuicer.com about 6 weeks ago which has a multitude of juicing/raw food supplies. So far I got the wheatgrass sprouter: http://877myjuicer.com/product/HEALTHYSPROUTER along with manual http://877myjuicer.com/product/HEALTHYJUICER and electric http://877myjuicer.com/product/LEXENHEALTHYJUICER versions of the HealthyJuicer. I LOVE not having to go out for wheatgrass anymore and now I'm taking a double shot a day at least 5 days a week. The manual unit is great if you're strictly into wheatgrass and the HJ electric is great if you like citrus, carrot and celery blends and does greens, peanut butter and you can make pastas with it. VERY easy to clean. I was stoked to find such an affordable unit that did so much after being dissatisfied with my Jack Lalanne juicer to the point of not juicing as much as I wanted. Now I'm back juicing full force. I'd love to hear from anyone out there growing there own wheatgrass. I'm on my third tray and it's been so much easier than I ever thought--takes very little time to manage it which is MAJOR important to me since I'm a full time student. Cool thing with this sprouter is you can grow multiple tiers at the same time or stagger them, (one for this week, one for next) and you don't need soil. Check it out for yourself! |

Jack LaLanne's juicer is great
I use it for everything but wheatgrass ALong with wheatgrass, I drink carrot juice. Carrot juice is extremely healthy and actualy carrots are cheap to buy Wheatgrass - I use a manual juicer |

2,500 RPMS is
2,500 RPMS is much tooo much friction to try and get a juice that is not somewhat pasturised(cooked) by the friction. Thus killing most if not all the the reason YOU are juiceing FRESH in the first place. Live active enzines. Before I would buy a "healthy Juicer"..for a few bucks more Tri-Best makes their Z-Manual juicer hand crank style. Their juicer lasts much longer....and the back up service is not demanding and sarcastic. A Omega 8005 will take care of your juiceing! Except for orange juice. 80 RPMS...much better. And comes with a 10 year warrenty...and if you have a problem...a REAL person answers the phone and takes care of it without any stupid questions.Omega toll free is 1-800-633-34-01.ask for Jeff Long....After about 35 years in this country...comparedto about two....There is a difference. Ps. I think the Jack La Lanne juicer is great if you have 6 kids and they all want apple juice....in a hurry! I think that is why FREEZ dried and powdered stuff is doing so well. And the drug stores also. Yes the Omega is Electric. and does cost more.l
