Grass colors

Hi, I am on day 6 of my first batch of grass. No mold, turning out perfectly.

I have probably about 4 blades of grass that turned out brown. 1 single blade came out light purple. Why is it like that? The rest of the grass is super healthy green.

It would be cool if grass came out purple and get some purple juice out if it...

Some times when the roots are too wet and start to rot....some brown may appear....The good flavor of the fresh wheatgrass will change to a much lesser quality.....not palitable and the crop shopuld be discarded. Just check your roots and make your own decision. ////////////////////////Sometimes VARIGATION of the wheatgrass berries(seeds) will cause different color changes. It can also happenthe berries are being cleaned and other types of wheat seeds are left in the cleaning tumbler. Note: CERAL and GRAINS are cleaned 4 times....TRUE sprouting berries are cleaned only 3 times.

What are you using to amend the grow mix you are using?? I prefer FOOD grade Sea Kelp MEAL from Canada. But there is an arey of possible things that can comtribute to better wheatgrass growing.
