Keeping it Real ... How to Grow WheatGrass Indoors

Here in Toronto I face two problems buying wheatgrass juice from the health store is expensive and second , we only have 4 months of summer there is 2 feet of snow piled outside right now.

This leads me to my question, compromises aside, how can I grow this product indoors - naturally I would switch to outdoors in the summer - please address :

1) Seed Selection
2) soil vs paper ( I recall an article discouraging the use of soil)
3) harvesting techniques ( how to get the healing nectar)
4) Spicing it up ( how to make smoothies, etc)

My motivation is health, I want to improve my health and in particular reduce my dependence on prescription medicine which I strongly believe is hurting me.

Sincere thanks

I use two products to ......

Grow my wheatgrass from Canada....Food Grade Sea Kelp Meal...and Farfard Custom grow mix. HERE in Orlando Florida.

WHOEVER????Said to grow with a paper base is not correct.

Canada is a GREAT place but.....Even with the sun being plentiful the sunlight is not potant (strong enough).

And though I do not endorse artificial grow lights....they my help you progress.

70% of ALL medications....DO NOTHING...and 100% of the drugs cause side effects....that include more problems.....in future months...or sometime years later.

It is big business and here in the USA....there is a drugstore across the street from another drugstore...and we are supposed to be a >>>

DRUG FREE AMERICA!!

You need alot of surfing THIS website...and find ALL you will ask....Seek and you will find about wheatgrass HERE!....JUST LOOK!

Thanks for the feedback that article was endorsing a paper towel base and salt water instead of distilled water.

Salt water...from the ocean...?

Seaweed(KELP MEAL) seems to work the best......azomite does the job...BUT do not apply to much of that stuff.....it will do yuk to the flavor....big time!

I'm here in Minnesota. It's zero degrees outside, but 66 degrees in our upstairs bedroom. I have a shelf in our bedroom that gets nice sunlight. Just harvested and drank my 1st crop!

Green, very green. I don't seem to be getting much juice either. I'd estimate 10 ounces from a tray. My wife thinks I'm crAZY!
