I understand that you want to position greenhouse growing as being superior to naturally outdoor grown wheatgrass.

One day you will watch the BBC documentary Planet Earth. You'll see fabulous time-lapse photography of the Artic tundra fading away to summer and watch grasses, frozen solid and trapped under the ice for months spring back to life and flourish. It is not the cold that compromises wheatgrass, it is the mold. Yes, mold problems for indoor growers is an inconvenient truth but a truth nontheless.

Incidentally, the 7 year story belongs to Evergreen Juices. Carol Macintosh runs it today and I hope they are doing very well.

as a trial sample. They told me that they sometimes get good seed and sometimes they don't. I'm a small operation, just growing for myself. I haven't found another grower of wheatgrass who sells seed to the general public. They made it so easy....even accepting PayPal.
I was going to buy from Wheat Montana, but they wanted a $50 minimum order, and the last time I bought from them their seed was inferior to what I am using now........WY

I just bought a refraction. Brix reading is my celery and carrot juice the morning of 5% and 10%. I will test my wheat grass when it gets tall enough, a day or two. I can see great possibilities with this. Can I change my fertilizer mix to get the highest reading for my wheat grass juice. I am considering buying some of the Ocean Grown (water) solution used in the "test."

8.9 % got first time tested my me " Wheatgrass on the Brix Scale. ther is no terribl disappointed as I've read that the average tray grown grass tests out at 5. I think I can improve the quality of my grass and will be working on that........WY

What I accept in apperception will plan for me. I abound my Wheatgrass in stainless animate bowls after cesspool holes. I cascade a aqueous fertilizer mix into anniversary bowl, again goes in the potting mix, and again I besprinkle the blood-soaked seed, assuredly accoutrement it all with a attenuate band of potting mix. I've been growing this way for abounding years and it has served me well.
