manual wheat grass juicers
Hi everyone, it is a big pleasure to join you!
I am new to wheatgrassing, currently setting up a small indoor garden and before purchasing a juicer. I would prefer a manul mashine and would be very grateful for any advice/ recommendation. Couldn't find any review on Miracle MJ445 stainless steel juicer, which appears the sturdiest among the manuals. Anybody uses it maybe? Thanks! chlorophylus |

I'd say IF......
The manuel juicer IS 100% stainless steel it will be fine. Be sure it is not a metal that has been dipped. Or in time you will be dissapointed. Tri-Best makes a Z-manuel juicer with a polycarbinate stucture....durable ...but it did produce more FOAM than what I call normal. Note: Foaming may be reduced by putting a few drops of olive oil on the wheatgrass just before the extration. Also with a metal machine it is recommed that you "oil" the machine after each use...as to inhibit any rust from occuring. Either type will do a good job. A TRUE Stainless manuel juicer costs about $200.oo. (the well built good one)...A Electric machine costs a little bit more but is easier and quicker by most juiceing standards....I like the Omega 8005. But all of the wheatgrass juicers are up to par these days....Since more people are juicing fresh wheatgrass the market for machines is very competitive!![]() |

Thanks. I was considering Omega 8005 and was not sure if the multipurpose mashines do a good job with the wheatgrass.
The thing is that I moved from the US to the Europe recently and will have to order a mashine from the states, since growing wheatgrass is still kind of exotic here without the supporting industry. With my tight budget and considering the shipping cost, which virtually doubles its price, I can only afford a good manual juicer for the beginning. I have been researching on the Internet for a while and have never seen those $200 manual ones. Do they sell them online somewhere? When posting this topic I must have clicked two times on the post button. Wheatgrass, may I ask you to delete the old one? Sorry/thanks! |

Send a e-mail to the administrater.....
He should be able to delete the double post. No biggie.
There is a company here ...I think it is Acme that sells a genuine Stanless Steel Juicer. Like I advised make sure it is not just plated...the plate comes off after a while. And the Tribest Z- manual has a sturdy metal alloy base and handle...Forget about the Healthy jucers....and the Tri Best juiceing mecanism is of polycarbinate and can take a beating. Similar to the omega 8005. The Omegaa is rated by the company with a 10 year warrenty for commmercial and home use. Many of the juice bars in the Central Florida area use them for making their fresh wheatgrass.....the machines hold up very well. Of course it is the only one I sell. |

Thanks JJ43, they are a bit closer but rather expensive. it seems they offer very good mashines though.
In my estimate it is still cheaper for me to order a mashine from the States. |

Here is a toll free number......
Some swear at them...but I Have had nothing but good feedback. Call Omega....someone will pick up the phone(no pressing buttons...ask for Jeff Long..1-800-633-3401
..He will describe the entire perspective about the machine....and you can make the final judgement as to a manuel or electric machine. It is our 9 th year...i have sold only the Omegaa electric for 8 years. Remember All of the juicers out right now do do a good job. And they are all competitive. I would GUESS?
Perhaps something went into the juicer that did not belong in there. It happens. I have answered all your postings today....BECAUSE you make it sound like the administrator and I are giving people a bum steer by recomending the Omega 8005. By coinsidense we both have the same juicer....and are fine with it. AGAIN just call 1-800 633 3401...ask for Jeff Long...tell him the problem and he will make you Happy! The company has alsways stood behind every juicer I have sold for the past 8 years. ![]() |
