Why can't wheatgrass be eaten as is?
The strong cellulose makes it too woody and fibrous for the long and complex intestines in humans. Grass eating animals, however, ( cows, horses, goats, etc.) have short intestines. Cows even have multiple stomachs in which allows them to chew, digest, regurgitate & rechew the grass. These magnificent animals actually build strong bodies and maintain themselves on a diet of grass - and very poor range grass at that.

Wheatgrass//horses???...no......
Some horses injest FRESH wheatgrass in a field of MIXED grasses. When they eat FRESH wheatgrass alone.....it cleans them out(diarrea)....then more often than not COLIC occurs. Causing much need attention or even death.

Hello community! Glad I could join. If we use a blender to breakdown the grass, can we digest it then? Some people, including me, use this way.

Too many RPMS....
Too much fast fricture can pasturise the benifits of what you want from FRESH wheatgrass.....You would opd better to just chew it. A good wheatgrass juicer has RPMS between 80- 120 RPMS.
