Do any Wheat seeds work for wheat grass?
I was givin about 50 lbs of wheat for food storage. I was wondering if I could use this to grow wheat grass? And also to use it to make more seeds to make more wheat. And also How much wheat grass make 2 oz. of wheat juice? Thanks

I cannot imagine what the post before this one is all about.....
But in answer to the seed question......Seed (berries) that are SOLD for sprouting are generally cleaned 3 times....those used for cereal or grain purposes arer cleaned times. I prefer a Certified Organice Hard Red SPRING wheat grown for sprouting purposes.....Others use the Hard Red wheat variety which gives a higher YEILD....But after nine years of commercial growing a higher percentage prefer the taste and "CHI" of the SPRING.
IF the seeds you have are not too old you will more than like to get wheatgrass from them Grass of any variety is said to be 97% liquid(if made with a wheatgrass juicer and 3 % tangiable substance. ![]() Last edited by Wheatenergy : 07-04-2007 at 07:37 AM. |
