How did you get started in the commercial Wheatgrass business?

Wheatenergy...I think it's fascinating that you are a professional wheatgrass grower! How did you get started in the commercial Wheatgrass business? I imagine you started growing wheatgrass at home first...but then what happened. Did you have a dream where you suddenly realized that you wanted to grow wheatgrass professionally?

Helper was not able to make it here today! Well, about 9 years ago a father of one of my son's friends stopped by....he has diabetes....Asked why I was not growing any fresh wheatgrass? My obvious answer was...HUH? He told me about IT and we traveled to a juice bar and I had a shot. Got a bad headache.DETOX!...took a nap...ate dinner and watched the boob tube ...went to sleep...and WOKE UP FEELING TRMENDOUS!!!!!....SO, I waited a few days...went back and had ANOTHER ounce(shot)....same thing happened all over again. The stuff put WIND IN MY SAILS....For the next 9 months I experimented with water....soil...soiless grow mixes....amendments(fertalizers)....and different wheat berries. If I dropped the FOOD grade Sea Kelp Meal from Canada....and the Soiless grow mix(peat and perlite) with NO wetting agent or added fertalizer(pure!)....I would easaliy make at least TWICE the profit on EVERY bag of fresh cut wheatgras that we sell!! I do not do that ..or ever will! Recently started up a new customer....from South Carolina...82 YEARS old.....He tryed 2 bags ....said he had been drinking wheatgrass for the past 25 years....He called me back 2 weeks later and complimented us ...saying it was the BEST wheatgrass he had ever drank...he now orders two bags every week.......nice. Not blowing my own horn....but from a 82 year old wheatgrass drinker...makes me feel like it is all worth it. Why are there only mabe 50 commercial grower in the U.S.A.??? I work at this 7 days a week! But the sign says we are closed on Sunday and Monday! Stay GREEN and BE Healthy! God Bless....Happy Thanksgiving. My occupations have been>>>Cutting hair for 2 years on Madison av.(53rd and madison)......Played music profesionally for about 6 years and traveld around the country....Then like to cook so I became a Hotel chef....about 15 years....got out of the kitchen and baby sitting hotel staff.....went outside and started up a landscape and lawn care business....another 14 years....And as I mentioned was turned on to FRESH wheatgrass growing by my son's friends father.

Now every week I get to meeet people from every walk of life....some need the energy stamina and extra focus......Others have cronic problems....even have been sent home by their doctors after years of treatment...to die. All the the sincere people who REALLY want to improve their health....do the DRILL....Most after weeks or months....depending on the receptiveness of their own personal metabolic and genetic chemistry......Gain what they want and enjoy better health....From a FRESH 100% toxic free NATURAL substance....That I grow..and had NOTHING whatsoever to do in creating. It has been expired for almost 2 years ...as we sell out of wheatgrass just about every week. We are expandig...just a little...so we will welcome some new customers....other than those we have been recieving by word of mouth.
