Wheatgrass Eyewash

Is it true you can use wheatgrass as atherapeutic wash for the eye? What dilution should you use?

I hope that someone else takes a shot at this...

A few months ago a opthamolojist...from Gainsville. Had a professor with malacular degeneration put fresh wheatgrass juice in his eyes....it is supposed to retard or stop the desease.

I have heard that people put the fresh juice through a coffee filter first to filter the particals that are present after extraction.

I sure it wil create a burning sensation....for outside or inside the body wheatgrass juice IS antiseptic. And 100% non toxic.

Since I am just a simple farmer....I would suggest that you consult with a homeopathic, holistic or alternative person about you personally using it.

I have been growing wheatgrass for the past 9 years....and have seen many of the miricles that people talk about.

Look at the wheatgrass gallery and see some of the pictures of our nursery located in Orlando Florida.

Eat well ...Stay GREEN and BE Healthy! ps . one of the natural ingridients in fresh wheatgrass juice does promote healthier vision. According to what I have read....and some of my customers.

Arrow Wheatgrass Eyewash

Cannot seem to find anyone who has actually done this and am reluctant to just stick this in my eye. Are there other wheatgrass forums that might address this?

You can dilute the wheatgrass with water, and use a paper towel. This is done with chickweed herb.

be careful....

A paper towel may have something in the processing that may irritate the eye...a coffee filter would be safer///I think?

The paper towel is white, not brown.

Tongue on the towel and taste it. Remember they are made to absorb liquids....not filter for consuption.

In the eye

I just poured an ounce through a paper
coffee filter into a shot glass and did
an eye wash with it. I have a red puffy eye
from splashing a hydro plant nutrient
in it. I grow and drink and use wheatgrass
juice daily. It is the most healing thing ever
I know it will cure my eye. It didn't burn
and filtered through in minutes. It does stain
so have a cheap kitchen towel u don't care
about. I can feel it in my eye now
but it doesn't burn. I imagine one of
those micro reusable coffee filters with
a paper one in it would b perfect.
