Has the cost of seed increased?

Back in December I was able to purchase a pound of seed at a local health food store for $.49. Now it's gone up to $.99 a pound. wheatgrasskits has also increased their price of $17.99 for 25 pounds to $25. Is this something that happens during certain times of the year or perhaps is related to the declining value of the dollar?

If strikes me funny when the RICH are treated by modern medicine...and later sent home to die....They seem to find FRESH wheatgrass....change thier diets...and MANY MANY times continue thier "Lives" with their family and friends.

With the price of wheat climbing.....only the very rich will be able to afford wheatgrass.

The 10-pounds of Kamut Seed I bought from MontanaFlour.com was $26, including shipping. Not cheap, but I'm only growing for myself. I'm not in business like you. I've found the shipping to usually be about twice the price of the seed. The Potting Mix I use (Lamberts) has tripled in price since I started using it.....WY
P.S. Where do you buy your Seed? Wasn't it Natural Way Mills?
